It was a brilliant stay from start to finish. The space, the hosts, the scenery, the tavern and the food - everything was top-notch. We arrived on Monday evening to Thanasis’s (the host on duty) welcoming smile which made us feel right at home. At dinner and then breakfast the following morning, and every morning and evening of our stay, not only were his attentiveness and care amazing, but the food and variety on offer was exquisite. Two days in, Nikos took over from Thanasis and the transition was seamless with Nikos giving us the same care and attention that Thanasis had given. The housekeeper was lovely too - always full of smiles. Earino is a little haven, a great place to stay if you’re looking for some peace and quiet. It’s location, right at the top of the mountains provides a brilliant view. We’ll definitely be staying here again.

The view on the valleys is beyond expectation, truly mesmerizing. The apartment was spacious, we had a private terrace and a back garden as well. The whole place had a decent authentic feeling, we had a great time exploring the small details. The staff was generous, kind and helpful.

What a magnificent time we had during our stay at Earino! The true hospitality from Nikos and his family made us feel as welcome as old friends. The cottage was delightful, the views extraordinary, and the food so very fresh, local, and representative of the region (including their own delicious wine!). We loved the place so much, we’re coming back with friends before we leave Crete to experience this magical mountain oasis again!

Amazing romantic location in the quiet hills. The hotel is small and private and all the rooms are actually apartments. The hosts are what makes this place, very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend this place if you want to experience Crete away from touristic beaches. Additionally, we ate some of our best meals in the Taverna enjoying great views of the valley.

Food was fantastic. Very welcoming people. Breakfast was super filling! Lamb was amazing and we normally don’t eat or order lamb but it made us think about eating it more! Nice location out of the village on side of hill. Great sunrise over the mountains! Plenty of parking. Rustic architecture.

All the 5-stars reviews do not lie: we absolutely loved our stay at Earino. Such a calming and relaxing place to take a break and disconnect. Our apartment as well as the restaurant overviewing the village were very lovely. The host took great care of us, offered us a drink at our arrival and was always making sure everything was to our liking, while also leaving us space and time to enjoy our stay peacefully, which was greatly appreciated. We loved waking up to the sunrise and the sounds of the village (and animals!) coming alive. The food (both breakfast and dinner) were absolutely amazing, the best we’ve had in Crete. Thank you so much!

The host was friendly and helpful, and went above and beyond, giving us recommendations for things to do. We were leaving early the last day, and he brought our breakfast items to us the night before so we could have them for our travels. The food at the taverna was delicious.

Beautiful, tastefully decorated large room. Full kitchen. Very comfortable clean space. Gorgeous views and remote location, very quiet. Taverna had tasty food, good prices, excellent views. We would happily come again .

A warm welcome with a complimentary glass of wine on the terrace. A very comfortable room, spotlessly clean. Great rural location. Fabulous food in the property's taverna, friendly and attentive service, overlooking the village and beautiful countryside.
